‘South Park’ Holiday Episode Pokes Fun at Taylor Swift, Lorde, Iggy Azalea & Michael Jackson’s Hologram
On the latest holiday episode of ‘South Park,’ they went for broke, poking fun at bloated holiday specials, smug celebrities and especially holograms, including those of Kurt Cobain, Tupac, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.
The three singers were to have been portrayed by Jessica Pare (Mad Men) as Simon, Alison Pill (The Newsroom) as King, and the new queen of New York, Taylor Swift, as Mitchell.
Voting for the awards end Dec. 4, followed by the ceremony in January.
The rocker performed a medley of tunes from his pair of new albums, ARTOFFICIALAGE and PLECTRUMELECTRUM, which came out last September, showing off new material while exhibiting the form and stage presence that made him a star from the start.
