Cliches be damned, it was a fun. night at the GRAMMY Nominations Concert on CBS, with the band performing and getting nominations in all four major categories: Album, Song and Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. Kelly Clarkson, The Black Keys and Frank Ocean all grabbed multiple nominations as well.

Steve Vai Wants To Cast Tom Waits & Pink In Movie Version Of His New LP

Steve Vai is currently on tour for his new record, “The Story Of Light,” a concept album with a long cast of characters. In a recent interview, Vai told CBS Local that he was “casting” the album even as he was writing it.
