GRAMMY Hall of Fame Inducts 27 New Recordings from Dolly Parton, The Rolling Stones, U2 and More

The GRAMMY Hall of Fame was established in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. According to GRAMMY.org, inductees are selected by a “special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts.”

Neil Young (and his team) put together a solid lineup of classic rock icons, indie rockers, chart toppers and a jazz singer for this years’s Bridge School Benefit concert. Neil Young has been releasing archival concert albums since 2006 as part of his Archives Performance Series, and up next for that series is Live At The Cellar Door, recorded during a six night solo acoustic stand at the Cellar Door in Washington D.C. between November 30 and December 2, 1970, shortly after the release of his classic third solo album, After The Gold Rush.
