‘Crossfire Hurricane’ Director Brett Morgen On Brian Jones, Getting The Keys To The Vault

After months of anticipation, on November 15 HBO premiered “Crossfire Hurricane,” the much-talked about documentary about The Rolling Stones. CBS Local spoke to the film’s director, Brett Morgen, about the access he got to all of the living Rolling Stones — Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood, as well as former members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor — and the perks to getting access to their vaults.

“Things Started Happening”: The Rolling Stones Release Trailer For “Crossfire Hurricane” Documentary

The Rolling Stones have released a minute-long trailer for Crossfire Hurricane, their long-in-the-works documentary. Starting with footage of the band being interviewed for a U.S. television show, the host asks how their second U.S. tour was going, Mick Jagger replies, “Things started happening.”
