Stefanovic realized he made a huge mistake when he challenge his co-host Ben Fordham to a meat pie eating contest to see who could devour the most of the the “The Flaming Ron,” supposedly the world’s hottest (as in spiciest) pie.

Boasting that he’s already eaten world’s hottest curry and world’s hottest chili, Stefanovic scoffed at the challenge, but soon realized that maybe eating “The Flaming Ron” on live TV wasn’t such a bright idea.

His eyes begin to tear, his face starts to sweat and begins coughing and wheezing when his mouth is clearly on fire after taking just a few bites.

This morning, Leonard joined the K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to talk about the huge influence his character and the Star Trek franchise has had in pop culture, and how portraying Spock for all these years has even become part of his own personality.

“Particularly when we were doing that TV series…I was in that character from 6:30 in the morning to 6:30 at night everyday, five days a week, so I was in that character Spock more than I was in my own skin,” said Leonard. “I got very contained and very reserved and very logical and very thoughtful.”

As for the new Spock in J.J. Abrams reboot of the Star Trek franchise, Leonard fully approves the casting of Zachary Quinto in the role he’s made so famous.

“I think he’s great…he looks the part, I think he’s very smart,” he said. “He does a great job as Spock.”

Looking back on the franchise, Leonard tells us about how he came up with some of the now iconic traits of Spock including the the Vulcan neck pinch and salute.

He tells us that he came up with the Vulcan neck pinch in an episode where Captain Kirk suffered from a good and evil split personality and he needed to find a way to stop the evil Kirk.

“The writer had written that I come up behind the bad Kirk and hit him over the head with the butt of my phaser, and that’s when I said ‘I don’t think so. I think Spock would have a better way of dealing with this,’” he said. “I told [William Shatner] what I was going to do and I reached up and I grabbed his shoulder from behind and pinched him on the neck and he dropped to the floor, and the Vulcan neck pinch was born!”

On what he thinks about how big of an influence Star Trek has been on pop culture over the years, Leonard isn’t surprised that the franchise is still beloved to this day. He attributes the huge following of the shows and films due to the hopeful message the show sends.

“Star Trek is about a hopeful future, about a future where this group of people goes out and solves problems and tries to find ways to make things better,” he said. “A lot of the science fiction that we introduced in ‘Star Trek’ has become science fact.”

Of course, one of the best experiences of a baseball game is watching all the wild fans and goofy moments on the jumbotron, and if you’re lucky, maybe you get to be the one providing that amusement on the jumbotron.

Thankfully, someone paid tribute to all the entertaining moments caught on the jumbotron over the years from hilarious dance moves, awkward kisses, tearful proposals and adorable kids being awesome.

Damon, who announced his strike in February, stated that those in the effort “won’t go to the bathroom until everyone in the world has access to clean water and sanitation.”

The strike that is led by the Damon and the advocacy group he co-founded, Water.org, are seeking to end the water crisis that is leaving millions without accesses to clean water and sanitation that can lead to illness and even death.

While the idea of the strike is a serious one, Damon and the other celebrities involved have turned to humor in order to get more awareness. In a video posted to YouTube on May 22nd, Wilde, Bono and Branson joke about how Damon crashed their not-so-secret secret meeting.

“I remember when Matt first brought up the idea, it was at a meeting of the Illuminati,” said the U2 frontman.

Wilde joked and added, “Bono was so mad. I only got in because I am an android from the future.”

Branson also added some humor to the video adding, “Bono started beating Matt with a two-by-four.”

However, alongside the jokes, the celebrities cited facts about the water crisis and what people could do to help.

“Millions of people each day spend hours just fetching clean water,” Bono says in the new public service announcement. “780,000,000 people – that’s one in nine – lacks access to safe water.”

Damon appears at the end of the video to encourage others to “join the millions of famous people who’ve already joined my strike. And remember, if you don’t use the toilet, you’re a celebrity.”

This is the second time McCartney has expressed support for the three band members who were originally arrested in March of 2012. Three members of the Russian feminist punk-rock collective, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Yekaterina Samutsevich and Maria Alyokhina, were arrested and charged with hooliganism after protesting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow’s main cathedral, Cathedral of Christ the Savior, in February 2012.

The band members were convicted of the charges in August of 2012 and were sentenced to two years in prison. However, after less than two months, Samutsevich was released on an appeal. The spark for recent interest from McCartney came after Alyokhina was denied access to her own parole hearing. As of May 22, Alyokhina has declared she will be on a hunger strike in protest of being denied the right to attend her hearing. Tolokonnikova, also still in prison, was denied parole on April 26.

The former Beatle stressed the Russian administration should consider parole for Alyokhina and Tolokonnikova.

In the letter regarding the case of Alyokhina, McCartney wrote and shared on his website, “My personal belief is that further incarceration for Maria will be harmful for her and the situation as a whole, which, of course, is being watched by people all over the world.”

McCartney continues in the letter, “In the great tradition of fair-mindedness which the Russian people (many of whom are my friends) are famous for, I believe that you granting this request would send a very positive message to all the people who have followed this case.”

In a separate hand-written letter, McCartney stressed concern for Tolokonnikova as well. He writes, “I have had a long relationship with the Russian people, and, with this in mind, I am making the following request in a spirit of friendship for my many Russian acquaintances who, like me, believe in treating people – all people, with compassion and kindness.”

McCartney is not the only musician that has voiced support for Pussy Riot band members. Madonna, Sting, and Yoko Ono, have publicly supported the group.

He recently spoke out against the British version of the show, which features judges Jesse J, Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue.

May wrote on his own website, “Sorry, hate to be negative but The Voice is the dullest, dumbest, most depressing show on TV.” Adding, “It’s the ultimate insult to music and to performers.”

Though we are not sure May seems to understand the concept about the show and the blind audition rounds. “Every time I catch a glimpse of young singers busting their guts trying to win somebody’s attention, who is rudely sitting with their back to them… I feel sick. I hope this vile show dies a natural death very soon,” May wrote.

Apparently May doesn’t hate everything about the show. He does seem to be a fan of Tom Jones, though he wishes that Jones would decide to walk away from The Voice. And of course, May isn’t totally against music-based competition shows: May and Queen drummer Roger Taylor have performed on American Idol.
