It’s finally Election Day and if the early voting lines were any indicator, chances are you are going to have plenty of free-time while you wait in line at the polls. We’ve compiled a list of things you can do to help time go by a little bit faster.
Read up on candidates
You probably have a pretty good idea of who you’re voting for by now, but take this time to read up on local issues and candidate platforms that you may have overlooked before.
Start your holiday wish list
With the holidays just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start some on holiday shopping. Get out your smartphone and start adding gifts to your Amazon wish list.
Make a friend
You’re going to be waiting for a while, you might as well get to know your neighbors. Word of advice, stay away from political topics to avoid any brawls.
Figure out where to go after you vote
Rock that “I Voted” sticker all day for freebies at some of your favorite places. Check out this list of who is having specials, then on head over after you place your vote.
Create a bucket list
Some people think that this election is the beginning of the end, so you might as well start putting together a list of “musts” while you still can!
