This morning Forbes has named the highest-paid woman in music for 2016.

Here are the top 5:

In Fifth place Beyonce, who performed last night on the Country Music Awards with The Dixie Chicks. She earned $54 million by turning lemons into lemonade.

The number four spot goes to Rhianna who pulled in $75 million in 2016, churning out radio hits and touring, not to mention her huge endorsements with Puma, Dior and Samsung.

In the second spot Adele, she earned $80.5 million mostly from album sales.

The number one highest-paid woman in music for 2015 according to Forbes Magazine is Taylor Swift, she pulled in $170 million over the past year most of which came from her ‘1989 tour’ which grossed over a quarter of a billion dollars.
