You may soon hear Beyonce singing some Prince tunes because her hubby Jay Z just offered Prince’s sister $40 million for the rights to Prince’s unreleased music.
The never-before-heard tunes which were discovered at Paisley Park after Prince died in April are reportedly up for grabs, and according to the New York Daily News Jay Z flew Prince’s sister Tyka and her husband to New York to discuss purchasing the highly sought after music.
The only problem is Tyka does not have full say, she needs to get approval from Prince’s half siblings.
Prince’s vault of music contained hours of live recordings and were locked behind a steel door in Paisley Park’s basement and had to be drilled open after he died.
In the meantime a 40 song album titled Prince4ever featuring a remastered version of “Purple Rain,” along with unreleased music, is expected to be released in 2017.
