Just in time for the Emmy’s, Forbes Magazine gives us their highest-paid TV actress list. And for the fifth consecutive year in a row Sophia Vergara topped the list with earnings of $43 million, which Forbes attributes that to not only Modern Family money but from various endorsement and licensing deals.
Right behind Sophia earning $24.5 million last year, Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, according to Forbes she earns $1 million per episode.
Even though her show is off the air, Mindy Kailing took the third spot on TV’s highest-paid actresses earning $15 million last year. Tied for fourth, Mariska Hargitay from Law and Order SVU and Ellen Pompeo of Grey’s Anatomy both raked in $14.5 million.
Rounding off the top five highest paid actresses according to Forbes is Kerry Washington with $13.5 million. Newcomers to the top 15 included Bollywood phenom Priyanka Chopra who made her debut on Quantico on ABC, she hit number eight with $11 million, while Castle star Stana Katic earned $12 million for her last season with the now cancelled show.
And this was surprising believe or not Julia Louis-Dreyfus made her debut on the list at number 13 earning $7.5 million.
