He’s got the number one movie right now, Sully, and believe it or not it’s the first time in almost sevenyears since he has had a number one movie.
And with that number one movie comes rumors that he wants to be President. Sorry to say kids, Mr. Tom Hanks will not be going to Washington anytime soon. When Hanks was asked about running for President he said, “Oh what a waste that would be. What a hideous job that would be.”
Well maybe for Tom, but according to Clint Eastwood who directed the film, Sully himself would be great a great President.
Tom does admit that he frequently compared to ‘Mr. Smith goes to Washington” star Jimmy Stewart and says that’s as close to Washington as he will get. He does however, take the comparison to Stewart as “high praise” and agrees saying, “They’re absolutely right! How about that.”
While Tom Hanks says he will never be President, Nick Cannon says he will “Never” get married again. He says he loves romance but you won’t see the AGT host walking down the aisle ever again. The 35-year-old ex Mr. Carey, and maybe that’s why he doesn’t want to marry again, told reporters at the Harper’s Bazaar Event for Icons event, “Marriage messes everything up. Marriage takes the fairy tale out of it. Cinderella didn’t get married she just lived happily ever after.”
Mariah and Nick share custody of their 5-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan who he says are the best part of his life. While Marriage is off the table, Cannon is dating and has been linked to TLC’s “Chilli” to which Nick says is all fun. “She’s having fun and so am I.”
