There are many, MANY questions as to what exactly is going on here.
We’re not experts when it comes to lions, but we think that bringing a crying toddler around a lion is a very bad idea.
That being said, the trainer may have just saved that kid’s life. After the lion lunges and grabs the toddler by the leg, you can hear the trainer repeatedly saying tranquila and no mueva, which translates to “stay calm” and “don’t move” while she wrestles the child free.
The lion soon lets go, no harm no foul.
Which brings us back to our original question: who brings a crying toddler around a lion?
