BEVERLY GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Crews Thursday shut off water in a Beverly Grove neighborhood to repair a broken pipe.

The water main ruptured around 2 a.m. in the 6600 block of West Lindenhurst Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The street became flooded, along with several lawns, as a result of the incident.

It remains unclear how many customers are affected.

LADWP crews have not estimated when water will be restored in the area.
