Runyon Canyon To Reopen After 4-Month Pipe Repair Project

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The hiking trails at Runyon Canyon will reopen Tuesday following a four-month closure that allowed city officials to repair a water pipeline.

The repair work was done on a roughly one-mile stretch of a 6-inch Department of Water and Power water pipeline, said Diana Bulnes, a spokeswoman for the city’s Recreation and Parks Department.
