KIMBERLY, Wis. (CBSLA.com) — A little boy is back on the job one day after he was shot in the face at his lemonade stand.
Jayden Grant, 9, was selling lemonade when he was shot with a BB gun in a drive-by shooting in Kimberly, Wis.
The BB narrowly missed his eye but doctors were able to remove the BB that was lodged in Jayden’s skin.
Police arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the incident.
The suspect was identified as Evgeniy Tetzlaff of Freedom, Wis. He faces up to three and a half years in prison if convicted.
As for Jayden, he hasn’t let the incident faze him one bit, and business at his stand is booming.
“I just don’t want to be scared of one thing that happened to me,” he said. “This person had a pistol out their window and shot me right here.”
