Summer Heat Wave Continues To Scorch Southern California

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Temperatures of well over 100 degrees are expected Friday across the Southland.

According to the National Weather Service, an excessive heat warning for the valleys and mountains will remain in effect through Saturday evening.

Meteorologists warned of increased fire danger due to the combination of hot temperatures and dry conditions with gusty winds.
