Southern California Landmarks Illuminated In Blue In Memory Of Fallen Officers

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Several landmarks in Southern California were illuminated in blue Monday night in memory of slain law enforcement officers.

Among them were the 100-foot gateway pylons at Los Angeles International Airport, as well as Los Angeles City Hall, and the headquarters of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

“Attacks on law enforcement officers are an assault on our democracy and way of life,” said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti via Twitter.
