A wide variety of claimants have come forward insisting that they are related to Prince. While the bulk of those claimants allege they are his sons and daughters, others claim they are parents, siblings, half-siblings and other types of blood relations to the late musical icon.

A Minnesota judge ruled that documents filed by those parties, but not by “children” seeking DNA confirmation, will be released July 11th.

This will make the details and allegations contained in court filings public for media scrutiny. While social security numbers and other identifying information will be kept private, other pertinent documents will become public record.

Billboard reports that in addition to those more obscure claims, there are 11 formal claimants seeking to prove that Prince was their father. They would join Prince’s sister and five half-siblings to divvy up his estimated $300 million fortune and other effects of his estate.
