Coldplay Confirmed to Play Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

Coldplay has confirmed that the rumors were true. They will perform during Super Bowl 50 as part of the Pepsi Halftime Show.

The British band’s seventh studio album A Head Full of Dreams will be released this Friday December 4th. In addition to vocals by Beyoncé the new album features guests including Beyonce, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton.

Super Bowl halftime performances have famously featured guest appearances, and rumors are already swirling that Beyoncé will join Coldplay on stage.

Super Bowl 50 airs on February 7th on CBS.
