It’s been 38 years since the release of the original Rocky movie, but Sylvester Stallone showed that he’s still one tough guy.
The 68-year-old actor broke up a brawl on the set of his new Rocky movie Creed on Monday, TMZ reports, but it wasn’t for the movie. The brawl was very real and unscripted according to eye witnesses.
It all went down while they were shooting in Philadelphia yesterday when one of the actors and boxer named Tony Bellow, who plays Pretty Ricky in the movie, started attacking the actor who plays his corner coach.
That’s when Sly rushed in and helped break up the fight between the two men. Filming came to a halt and all extras and crew members were ordered off set while police were called in. However, no arrests were made and the altercation was said to be minor, though we don’t know what led to the brawl.
Stallone returns as Rocky Balboa in Creed as the trainer to Adonis Creed played by Michael B. Jordan, who stars as the grandson of boxing champ Apollo Creed. Creed is set to hit theaters Nov. 25.
