‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ All Set To Resume Filming
After Han Solo lost the battle against the Millennium Falcon door, resulting in a foot injury that sidelined the production of Star Wars: Episode VII, all things seem to be back on course to resume filming.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production will start back up later this month after going on a two-week hiatus earlier this month due to an injury Harrison Ford sustained in June. The star underwent surgery after breaking his left leg when the door of his character’s iconic spacecraft reportedly malfunctioned and fell on his leg.
However, Ford was looking in tip-top shape and standing on his own two feet again at the premiere of Expendables 3 on Monday. Though THR notes it is not confirmed whether Ford is heading back to London to resume filming just yet.
Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled for release on Dec. 18, 2015, and features all the original Star Wars cast including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker reprising their roles.
