Freddie Prinze Jr. Says Working With Kiefer Sutherland Made Him Want To Quit Acting
We love our Kiefer Sutherland, but there’s not much love coming from his former 24 co-star, Freddie Prinze Jr.
In an interview with ABC News, Prinze said that working with Sutherland on the eighth season of the show almost made him quit acting.
“I did ’24,’ it was terrible. I hated every moment of it,” Prinze told ABC News. “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”
He added that “I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”
Prinze, who was at Comic Con in San Diego over the weekend promoting his new Disney X D series Star Wars Rebels, said he took on other projects after his stint on 24, including working with Vince McMahon at the WWE.
And guess who else was at Comic Con? That’s right, Kiefer appeared there to promote 24: Live Another Day, although the two didn’t cross paths. Guess Freddie just couldn’t handle the heat from Jack Bauer.
