Stevie Nicks Joins ‘The Voice’
Stevie Nicks picked up herself a new gig! Billboard reports that Nicks will join the mega-hit competition show The Voice as an adviser on Adam Levine’s team.
Nicks will work with Adam and the 12 team members to assign songs and guide them during rehearsals for the battle rounds. The show will announce other advisers soon, but has revealed Gwen Stefani and Pharrell will join Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches this season.
This isn’t the first time Nicks has worked with Levine, either. The two dueted on “Leather and Lace” at Maroon 5’s 2011 Hollywood Bowl show, and this year, Adam paid tribute to Stevie when she was the guest of honor at the BMI Pop Awards, singing that song with Sheryl Crow.
Nicks previously performed on the season finale of the first season back in 2011 with Javier Colon, who won that season on Levine’s team.
Filming for the seventh season is underway and will return on Sept. 22 on NBC.
The fall will be especially busy for Nicks, who embarks on a 33-city tour with Fleetwood Mac beginning on Sept. 30, with two stops at The Forum in LA on Nov. 28-29.
