Manhattan Beach

With a host of celebrities taking up residency along “The Strand,” Manhattan Beach is definitely one of the nicest beaches in Los Angeles. There’s really no better way to spend a weekend than cozied up in front of a fireplace at the ultra stylish Shade Hotel. Sunrise, smooches and surfers will sum up your picturesque mornings on this iconic Southern California beach. Get your brunch on at Uncle Bill’s Pancake House and later grab some killer gastro-tapas at Manhattan Beach Post. Those sunsets on the pier will turn into steamy nights in your luxe suite.

La Jolla Cove

If you want next level stay-cation, then you’ll dig the cozy and classic cottages of Redwood Hollow. Like an enchanted forest at the beach, these funky little cottages have catered to the weekend whims of old school movie stars like Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Nestled in the shade of beautiful trees, these bungalows have kitchens and appliances so you can surprise your baby with breakfast. If you’re really not much of a cook, that’s OK; just take a stroll down to Brockton Villa and grab some cinnamon roll pancakes. Bring those perfect days to an end with snuggle sesh in the Redwood’s garden as the sun goes down. The caves at the cove are also an awesome place to sneak off to.

Dana Point

Just a short distance from the snowy sands of Victoria Beach, a weekend at Casa Laguna Inn will feel like you’re in the south of Spain. The cozy, rustic inn is reminiscent of an old Spanish style villa complete with an organic garden and fountains. Take a sunset walk to Treasure Island Park at the Montage before settling in for some sexy grub at Maro Wood Grill. Take your babe out for some whale watching or scuba diving and make it a dreamy getaway in your own backyard.

Catalina Island

Snag one of the luxurious getaway packages at the Catalina Island Inn and you’ll be pimpin’ with complimentary chocolates, champagne, continental breakfast and a massage. The packages include round trip boat transport to the island. The inn is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. If you’re the adventurous type, you’ll love the Little Outback Harbor Tour where you’ll get a guided tour of the island that includes kayak, snorkel, and other water sports gear, as well as a peak at the natural wildlife. An island getaway? Doesn’t get any sexier than that.

Malibu

Do Malibu like a movie star and shack up the Malibu Island Pool House. This small private guest house so bad-ass that it has its own private swimming pool and deck. Live it up like you own this pad with afternoon cook outs on your own personal outdoor grill. The decor is legit with dark wood exposed beams, canary yellow walls, and baby blue floor. Explore El Matador Beach with a hike down the bluff and kick back on its white sands. Surrounded by cliffs and cool rocks, this beach is hidden from tourists. Check out iconic restaurant, Geoffrey’s Malibu, where the Kardashians get their grub on. If you cant seem to break out of that early morning love sesh, just stay in and have Pacific Coast Greens Market deliver some ready-to-eat gourmet goodies. Now this is a total glitterati getaway.

Laguna Beach

If you want a cinematic experience, hit up the historic Crystal Cove State Park. Travel back in time to the ‘40s when you stay in one of the authentic vintage beach cottages in the park’s historic district. Love it up like they did in The Notebook at this virtually unchanged seaside gem. Wake up to the breeze and have beignets for breakfast at The Beachcomber. Bask in the warm California sun and lock lips on the sand as the waves break around you. Yup, it’s all about those oceanside cliffs, seagulls, straw hats and high water dungarees on this classic weekend getaway.

Santa Barbara

For a playful and magical getaway, check out The Cheshire Cat Inn. Inspired by Alice In Wonderland, and the English countryside, these cottages are unreal. The “Queen of Hearts Jacuzzi Room” has a private garden, a hot tub and includes breakfast. Have some cherries and champagne under an old oak tree before heading to Butterfly Beach. This secluded beach lies off the beaten path across from The Biltmore and is known for having a regular influx of Hollywood A-Listers. Snuggle up on the sand in the shade of a Cypress tree while you watch dolphins at play. Grab some slices of premium cured meats and imported cheese at Metropulos for a seaside picnic and then take off on an afternoon sail with Sunset Kidd. Santa Barbara is seriously sexy.

Big Bear Lake

If you’re into kinky role play, then take your fantasies to the next level and check out the themed Castle Wood Cottages. Bring your costumes and get it on in an ancient Egyptian love den or a Medieval castle courtyard. When you’re ready to get out, grab a warm stack of fluffy buckwheat pancakes at Teddy Bear Restaurant and hit the water with some fierce flyboarding at Action Aquaflight. If you wanna keep it chill, take in the panoramic view of the Big Bear Lake from the top while riding horseback through the surrounding forest trails. Keep it simple and sexy with this carefree getaway.
