She’s back ya’ll! Paula Deen, the cooking queen, is launching her own digital network after being fired from The Food Network for making racial slurs.
Deen is returning in a big way in September with her own internet subscription-based “Paula Deen Network,” reports USA Today. The network will be an interactive digital experience that will broadcast a variety of exclusive videos featuring Deen and special guests cooking and much more.
“Y’all can get my recipes, tips and cooking anytime you want – this is for you,” she says on her website pauladeen.com. “I can’t wait to crank up the oven and get cooking for the people I love: my family, my friends and my fans!”
Pricing for the subscription to the network have not been finalized, so we don’t know what it will cost yet. Sources say Deen’s success will depend on how many of the more than 1 million Food Network viewers she attracted in 2012 will be willing to pay to see her on the digital network.
