You’ve known him for years as the longtime host of CNN’s Larry King Live, now the famed TV newscaster is currently busy at work with his new online series Larry King Now on Hulu.

Larry called in to The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to talk about his new online new series, plus some of the hot topics currently making headlines – specifically the Donald Sterling Scandal.

Having known Sterling for years, Larry has a personal take on the entire situation, but he says he wasn’t surprised when the shocking accusations came to light.

“A lot of people have called me about [Sterling], I’ve done so many interviews on that. You know, it’s a pathetic, sad, sad story. I know Donald Sterling and I can’t say I was surprised,” said Larry. “I think basketball did the correct thing, and I hope he doesn’t fight it…because if he does that a lot of these guys are not gonna want to play for them.”

While many fans know him for his upstanding journalism, many don’t realize that Larry is actually a very funny, witty comedian in his own right.

“I’ve done a lot of comedy all my life, all my career…I always inject humor. I did a comedy tour last year…I’m a communicator, so I communicate in many venues, but making people laugh is one of my favorites,” said Larry.

With his new online show, it gives him more room to flex his comedy muscles than his nightly news program on CNN. From the topics to his guests, which recently featured model/actress Brooklyn Decker, Larry’s new show is more relaxed than his days at CNN.

“What I don’t have is any suits, and we all know what suits mean,” joked Larry.

Catch Larry’s new program Larry King Now on Ora TV or Hulu.com Monday-Thursday at 5pm. Listen to our complete interview with Larry King in the clip below.
