A pair of French daredevils just pulled off a record-breaking stunt by base jumping from the tallest building in the world – the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Standing at a towering 2,716 feet, French base jumpers Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet soared from the pinnacle of the Burj Khalifa in bright yellow jump suits leaving an stream orange smoke behind them, reports NY Daily News.

According to the video description: “Skydive Dubai sponsored Soul Flyers World Champions Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen break a new World Record by BASE jumping from above the pinnacle of the World’s Tallest Building.”

We don’t like to scare ourselves. It’s not the goal,” said Fugen. “People think you BASE jump because you’re crazy, you like to get scared, but we like to fly.”
