The days of going to the car wash may be over, Nissan has developed the first ever self-cleaning car!

In a new video, Nissan previews a brand new paint technology they’ve developed to help repel dirt and water.

According to The Daily Mail, a Nissan spokesman said: ‘The Nissan Note is first car to trial paint which could make car washes obsolete. Washing a car can be a chore – and a costly one at that. In response, Nissan has begun tests on innovative paint technology that repels mud, rain and everyday dirt, meaning drivers may never have to clean their car again.”

The innovative protective coating the company has trade-marked as Ultra-Ever Dry was applied to a Nissan Note supermini and tested by UK engineers.

Watch as white car splashes through mud and puddles and dirt literally just bubbles up and rolls right off! We’ll take one, please.
