Shakeup On ‘Good Morning America’: Josh Elliott Leaves, Michael Strahan Joins
There is a big shakeup happening on the morning TV shows as Good Morning America anchor Josh Elliott announced his departure from the show on Sunday.
He reportedly wanted $10 million to stay on GMA, but the network only wanted to give him $5 million, so he decided to leave to be a part of NBC Sports and news specials. Elliott will be replaced by ABC’s Amy Robach, but the network also announced that Michael Strahan of Live! With Kelly and Michael will be joining the morning news ranks.
According to People, Strahan will remain on Live!, and is expected to do segments on GMA during the 7am and 8am hours.
