Our buddy and host of America’s Got Talent, Nick Cannon is taking heat this week for transforming into a white man to promote his new album, White People Party Music.

Over the weekend, Cannon posted a picture on Instagram of him wearing makeup to make him look like a white man to help promote his new album, with the caption “it’s official, I’m white.” He even gave himself a new name, “Connor Smallnut.”

Well, his stunt has caused quite the backlash yesterday and was inundated by angry users who accused him of being racist. But it didn’t bother Nick one bit. When one user posted that they were extremely offended that Cannon would put on “white face” for laughs, he replied, “Me too. Let’s march bro.”

Nick later tweeted, “funny how people take themselves so seriously. People love drama. We feed off it. Just relax and have fun.”

His new album, by the way, drops on April 1st.
