If Social Media Existed When The Beatles Performed On ‘Ed Sullivan’

We all know that The Beatles were way ahead of their time musically, but the Fab Four were also apparently masters of technology as well.

At least they were in Jimmy Fallon’s mind. Fallon featured a hilarious sketch on The Tonight Show Monday night that imagined what it would be like if social media were around when The Beatles took the stage for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.

With the help of former SNL cast-mate Fred Armisen playing Ringo Starr, Fallon dressed up as John Lennon and peddled the band’s social media accounts from Facebook to Vine after the performance to the cheering audience.

They even take a selfie for their Instagram at the end. Watch below.
