The stakes are already high enough for Friday’s semifinal round in men’s hockey at the Sochi Winter Olympics as USA and Canada go head to head this morning for a spot in the gold medal round.
To raise the stakes even higher in today’s game, a billboard spotted in Illinois has gone viral for its interesting wager involving pop star Justin Bieber.
According to BlearcherReport, Illinois freight broker Command Transportation put their digital billboard to good use by proposing a wager between the two countries that the losing team has to keep Bieber.
The company tweeted a sign that features Chicago stars Patrick Kane (USA) and Jonathan Toews (Canada) with a photo of Bieber and the message “Loser Keeps Bieber.”

The controversial pop star hails from Canada, but currently resides in California. His recent string of bad behavior has even prompted a petition to the White House to deport him.
When reached for comment about the billboard, an anymouos executive of Command Transportation told DNAinfo Chicago’s Justin Breen: “We try to keep this low-key,” the Command Transportation executive said. “We just have fun. We don’t use the sign other than to have fun.”
