Arsenio Hall is back better than ever with a brand new late night show on KTLA5. This morning Arsenio called in to The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to talk about what it’s like to back in the late night game.
“It’s so much fun there every night,” said Arsenio, who noted that he appreciates the show more the second time around.
On who his dream guest on the show would be, Arsenio hopes to someday have music’s power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z on the show, and jokes that he wants to interview Pharrell’s hat.
And speaking of the Pharrell hat craze, Arsenio tells us about the bizarre connection he has with K-EARTH’s own Shotgun Tom Kelly, who we all know is the real trendsetter of the ranger hat long before Pharrell.
“I used to date a girl from San Diego who was a huge Shotgun Tom Kelly fan…all she wanted was one of those hats,” said Arsenio. “Do you know [Shotgun] found me one and shipped me one of those hats and made me look good.”
Arsenio is “ready to get it on” for the next three nights with huge guests stopping by the show. Tonight, Arsenio welcomes Paula Abdul, NFL great Vernon Davis and Les Twins; Thursday pro wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and actor Lamorne Morris (New Girl) are on the show; and Friday features actress Ming-Na Wen (Marvel’s Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D) and Bow Wow.
Tune in to the new and improved Arsenio Hall Show weeknights at 11pm on KTLA5. Listen to our full interview with Arsenio below.
