Arnold Schwarzenegger Stars In Bud Light Super Bowl Teaser Ad

If you were one of the 100 million viewers watching football Sunday night, then you may have seen a surprising commercial starring former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The 66-year-old actor stars in a mystifying new teaser commercial for Bud Light donning a 70s-inspired athletic suit, sweatband and even a long, blond Conan The Barbarian-esque wig a while playing ping pong.

In one of the 17-second teaser ads titled “Arnold Zipper,” the camera follows the zipper of his track jacket up to his face were he simply says “Surprise.”

In a second teaser ad, Arnold is shown doing some warm-up stretches in his 70s athletic getup including touching his toes and taking a few practice swings at the ping pong table.

According to the L.A. Times, Anheuser-Busch has no plans to fully reveal the meaning of Arnold’s appearance in the Super Bowl ads until the big game on Feb. 2.

“When you introduce a new campaign at the Super Bowl called ‘The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens,’ there’s an expectation for the unpredictable,” Rob McCarthy, vice president of Bud Light at Anheuser-Busch, said in a statement.
