Is There A ‘Seinfeld’ Reunion In The Works?

Rumors were running wild on Tuesday after photos and video of Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander surfaced showing them in front of Tom’s Restaurant in New York – the same place that was regularly featured on the hit sitcom.

So naturally, many people were asking the question on Twitter if there was a potential Seinfeld reunion show in the works. The Hollywood Reporter notes that there was camera equipment inside the restaurant, which Gothamist confirmed was closed for a few hours on Monday, with the shades drawn and cables running inside the building.

So what could Jerry and Jason possibly be doing together again? Well, the labels on the camera equipment read “Comedians” which could mean they were filming a piece for Jerry’s web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Or some presume that it could be for a Superbowl commercial while others are hoping the two came together for a reunion episode of the hit show.

The sighting comes just days after Jerry revealed in a Reddit AMA discussion that he’s working on a secret project with fellow Seinfeld creator Larry David.

However, Jerry and Jason declined to comment about exactly what they were filming so we are just left to wonder until this secret project it revealed.
