Tomorrow night features two major TV premieres with season 13 of American Idol and the new season of Duck Dynasty going head to head in the same time slot Wednesday night at 9 p.m.

According to Fox, Idol has had major retooling done to its new season that features a new all star cast with Harry Connick Jr, Keith Urban and the return of Jennifer Lopez at the judges table. Producers also say that this season will focus more on the performers and less on the star power of the judges.

However, will it be enough to beat out Duck Dynasty? Call it a coincidence, but A&E planned the show’s debut on the same night and time as Idol. Maybe that’s because last year the Ducks waddled all over Idol and beat them by 34 percent in the 18-49 demo.

Some say that the recent Phil Robertson controversy will actually boost this season of Duck Dynasty, or at least the premiere.

So which premiere will you be tuning in to? Idol or Dynasty?
