Laugh Factory Hosting Charity Show Featuring Jay Leno, Roseanne & More

Want to take in a night of laughs all in the name of charity? Laugh Factory Hollywood is hosting a two-show benefit for stand up comic Charlie Hill tonight (Thursday, Dec. 19) at 8 and 10 p.m.

Some of the biggest comedy acts in the country are lined up to perform at the benefit show including Jay Leno, Roseanne Barr, Paul Rodriguez, Tom Dreesen and many more.

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada called in to The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to tell us more about this worthy cause that features some of the top comics in the country.

“We’re trying to raise money for one of our fellow comedian Charlie Hill, because Charlie Hill has cancer and he doesn’t have enough money for his medical bills,” said Jamie. “As a comedy family, we are like a family we try to help each other to do whatever we can do.”

Laugh Factory has been known for its charitable spirit – at Thanksgiving the comedy club hosts a free dinner for the needy as dozens of comics perform throughout the day. Jamie also tells us that the Laugh Factory is getting in the Christmas spirit by helping families in need make sure their children have gifts this year.

“We have a toy to give to people that don’t have money to buy toy for their own kids…so on Christmas day anybody want to come in and pick up a toy for their kid no questions asked, they should come in,” he said.

All proceeds go to comedian Charlie Hill’s cancer treatment. Click here to donate online here.
