Today to win those Eagles tickets on ‘Tickets @ 2′ listen for “One Of These Nights” by the boys themselves.

Written by Glenn Frey and Don Henley, Don Felder, who was the Eagles newest guitarist, came up with the opening bass line. Don Henley credited Felder with helping them get away from acoustic ballads Henley said: “He made us nastier!”

Henley said the song is challenging to sing live: “My voice has to be just right to hit the high notes. Sometimes I make it, sometimes I don’t.”

This was the Eagles second # 1 single in America, preceded by “Best Of My Love” a year before.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take lucky caller 13 to win a pair to see the Eagles January 22nd at the Forum. Call in at 1-800-232-KRTH. (5784) Good luck!!!
