“A Christmas Memory” by Truman Capote – If you can’t get anything meaningful out of this movie than you will never “get it”. The childhood of Truman in rural Alabama in the thirties.

  2. Julia says:

It has to be “White Christmas”. Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera Ellen, Dean Jagger, Mary Wicks & Johnny Grant who has a small “uncredited” part. What a great cast! It’s not Chtrsitmas until I watch this movie. It was on recently & I recorded it so I can watch it closer to Christmas.

Happy Holidays to everyone at KEARTH!

Jingle All the Way ( 1996)
evokes the Christmas Spirit in the way most of us manage to get through the Xmas season.

I nhave fond memories of the Mr Magoo Christmas Carol which is shown each year.

Every time I look at a Television Schedule lately I see Elf is being shown I feel that we are being beat over the head with this movie.

  5. RainbowRay says:

How about “The Polar Express”, especially during the parts where the boy shakes the bell and it “rings for him” because he “BELIEVES” and a the end when his parents “Ring the bell” and it doesn’t ring for them. Remember that scene dor those who’ve seen the movie? Does that scene “ring a abell”> LIke Quasimodo, does that name “ring a bell”?

They’re all great movies to watch over the Christmas season.
