Man Rescued After Surviving 60 Hours In Sunken Ship

A man was rescued after spending 60 hours trapped in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean by a team of divers who were sent on a dead body recovery effort. A video of the incredible rescue operation was recently released by DCN Diving team.

Harrison Okene, 29, was a chef on the Jascon 4, which had capsized and sunk to 100 feet in the ocean off the coast of Nigeria in May, according to Huffington Post. He was the sole survivor of the ship’s 12-member crew.

For three days, Okene was living in an air pocket of the ship with no food, no water (he survived by drinking Coca Cola) and in pitch black.
