Did You Know: “All Right Now” By Free

The ‘Tickets @ 2’ hit to listen for between two and three is “All Right Now” by Free.

The song was created after a bad gig in Durham, England. Their set list at the time was mostly slow and medium paced blues songs. They were walking off the stage to the sound of their own footsteps, any applause died before the last note. They wanted an up tempo song to close their shows with.

This was the first hit song with vocals by Paul Rodgers, he later joined Bad Company and also played with The Firm and Queen.

When Paul teamed up with Queen in 2004 to tour as Queen + Paul Rodgers he┬áincluded “All Right Now” as part of their set list and a crowd favorite.

We’ll take caller # 7 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a 4-Pack of tickets to see “Hunger Games-Catching Fire” at a Regal Theatre near you.
