Elvis Presley Exhibit Coming To The Rock Hall

You don’t have to go to Memphis to get a dose of Elvis Presley’s motorcycle, at least for a limited time, starting in a little over a week.

On November 29, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will open a new exhibit dedicated to Elvis, with more than forty artifacts on loan from Graceland. Some of the items featured in the exhibit will include his 1968 “If I Can Dream” suit that he wore on his NBC special, Elvis. Also, his 1971 Lake Tahoe rehearsal schedule will be on display. The resort city was a staple for concerts by the “Jailhouse Rock” singer.

Some more personal artifacts will also be on display, including a 1958 Army induction portrait, a 1975 custom made SuperTrike motorcycle, an ID bracelet and several rings. The Elvis exhibit is a partnership between the Rock Hall and Elvis Presley Enterprises, which also produced a new film showcasing some of Elvis’ most memorable performances for the exhibit.
