Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are accusing YouTube founder Chad Hurley of leaking video of their private engagement at AT&T Park in San Francisco earlier this month, and now they are suing.
Kim and Kanye say that Hurley leaked footage of the proposal to boost his new website venture, Mixbit, reports TMZ. According to the couple, they say the leaked video diminishes the value of the video of the event that they own.
In the lawsuit filed on Thursday, Kim and Kanye say that Hurley wasn’t even invited to the engagement event, but manipulated his way in. Hurley was finally let in only after agreeing to sign a confidentiality agreement, which they have a photo of him holding up included with the lawsuit.
However, in a desperate act to boost his new website, Hurley leaked the footage despite signing the confidentiality agreement. That video, by the way, is still posted on Hurley’s website and has over two million views.
