Happy Halloween! Our ‘Tickets @ 2′ song is Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves Of London.”

Zevon wrote it with guitarist Robert “Waddy” Wachtel. Warren was working with The Everly Brothers, at one point Phil Everly asked them to write a dance song for the Everly Brothers called “Werewolves Of London.”

Jackson Browne produced the track, with background vocals from Mick Fleetwood and John Mc Vie of Fleetwood Mac fame.

This was Zevon’s only Top 40 hit for Warren as a singer. His “Poor Poor Pitiful Me” was #31 for Linda Ronstadt in 1978.

When you hear it play between two and three we’ll take caller #7 to win a pair of tickets to the Grammy Museum’s exhibit “Peace & Love, Ringo. Call in at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) Good Luck!
