Freaky ‘Telekinetic’ Coffee Shop Prank Terrifies Customers
What if you were faced with a person who exhibited Carrie-like super telekinetic powers in real-life? How would you react?
One company set out to find out just that. To help promote the upcoming remake of the classic 1976 horror flick Carrie based on the Stephen King novel, viral video company Thinkmodo created a prank that will have you jumping out of your skin, reports People.
It starts off like any typical day in a New York coffee shop – customers are ordering their coffee when all of a sudden the Carrie-like customer slams a man against the wall using her MIND after he spills coffee all over her computer.
The thing the unsuspecting customers don’t know is that they are both actors and the man is hooked up to a high-tech harness that flies him backwards. The customers not in on the prank react just as you’d imagine and royally freakout. I mean, wouldn’t you scream and run for the door if you just saw a man FLY across the room??
Even though you’re in on the prank from the beginning, you can’t help but feel a little terrified of this girl. Just imagine if you were one of these unsuspecting patrons just ordering a cup of coffee and this happens!!
The video, uploaded on Monday has already amassed over 3 million views on YouTube. Watch below to find out why:
