They always say it ain’t over until it’s over, and that’s certainly true with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones.
The couple is said to be fighting to save their marriage. It’s be almost four months since this Hollywood power couple decided to call it quits, but now neither star is ready to really end their 13 year marriage.
According to a close friend, they are not giving up on marriage even though they are still currently separated. The source claims they are still speaking several times a day.
As you know, Douglas just won an Emmy on Sunday for his performance in Behind The Candelabra and thanked Catherine in his speech.
Yesterday was both stars’ birthdays, which they usually celebrate together, but she’s in China for a promotional event and he’s in New Mexico to shoot his upcoming thriller The Reach. However, the source said they did talk on the phone and it was very lovingly.
In the meantime, Douglas says they are “trying to work it out, and we’ll see how it goes.”
