Did You Know: “If I Can’t Have You” By Yvonne Elliman

Today between two and three on ‘Tickets @2′ listen for Yvonne Elliman’s “If I Can’t Have You.”

This was a # 1 Hit for Yvonne, her biggest, written by the Bee Gees, as was much of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The Bee Gees were the first to record the song, and used it as the B-side of the “Stayin’ Alive” single.

Elliman got her start as a backup singer for Eric Clapton and performed on many of his 70s hits including “I Shot The Sheriff.” This song made her the first Asian/Pacific Islander to have a #1 hit, she’s from Honolulu, Hawaii.

We’ll take caller # 7 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) when it plays to win a 4-Pack of Hopper Tickets to Legoland and Sea Life to enjoy Brick-Or-Treat Party Nights.
