James Gandolfini’s ‘Sopranos’ Wardrobe Going Up For Auction
If you are a Sopranos fan, you are going to love this. Fans have a chance to own the clothing worn by the late James Gandolfini on the hit HBO show.
Sadly, Gandolfini’s untimely passing has spiked interest in his wardrobe from the playing the TV mobster, so a New York based online auction house, gottahaveit.com, is auctioning off Tony Soprano’s iconic wardrobe.
Some of the pieces that are included in the auction are Tony’s black and white Fila track suit that he wore in season six, which is expected to fetch $1,500. His famous white terry cloth robe with blue bath slippers he wore in season five is also up on the auction block, with a minimum bid of $1,500. Also included are a black cashmere coat, three casual shirts, and a green tie along with a gray dress shirt he wore in season four.
The clothes come from a private collector who bought them from Gandolfini in 2012. The auction runs through September 27th on www.gottahaveit.com.
By the way, fans can see Gandolfini’s last body of work Enough Said – a bittersweet romantic comedy co-starring Julia Louis Dreyfus – which opens in limited release on today (Sept. 18).
