Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2′ song is “Over My Head” written by Fleetwood Mac keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie. The song came out in 1975.

McVie said she composed the song using a portable Hohner electric piano in a small Malibu apartment, where she and then-husband John McVie lived after completing a concert tour promoting the previous album Heroes Are Hard to Find.

McVie has never confirmed that the song referred to her troubled marriage to Fleetwood Mac bass player John McVie, which would end in divorce in 1976.

By the way Christine hinted that she may rejoin the group when they play in England. Check out the details here on our website.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 8 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets before they go on sale to see Danny Elfman’s music from the films of Tim Burton on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31st at Nokia Theatre L.A. lIVE.
