Actress Leah Remini made headlines last month when she quit the Church of Scientology, and she’s about to make headlines again after announcing she’s ready to tell all about her dramatic break with the church.
The King of Queens star has kept her silence on her exact reason for leaving the church, but that may be about to change with her decision to pen a memoir on her life, including her experiences with the church.
“It will include my experiences, everything that’s taboo to talk about,” Remini told US Weekly.
Leah joined the church at age 7 and briefly served as a member of the elite religious order known as the sea-org, and then as celebrity, she moved among Scientology’s most famous members.
Leah’s relationship with the Church began to sour n 2006 at the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, where Leah reportedly asked the head of the Church, David Miscavige, where his wife was. His wife, Shelly, has not been seen publicly in many years.
Leah was then rebuked by the Church officials for asking, but officials have publicly denied this story.
As for Leah’s upcoming book, the Church has no comment, but you can be sure this will be a book many will be eager to read.
