Johnny Depp already thinking about retiring from acting? Say it ain’t so!
Over the weekend, the star gave an interview with the BBC and said he is “overworked and is ready to retire” at just 50 years old.
The Pirates star says he’s not “dropping out anytime soon,” but that he’s looking forward to doing quieter things down the road.
“At a certain point you start thinking, and when you add up the amount of dialogue that you say per year…and you realize you’ve said written words more than you’ve actually had a chance to say your own words, that’s kind of an insane option for a human being,” he said in the interview.
Though he’s thinking about his retirement, we won’t have to worry about Depp leaving acting in the near future. Depp still has at least one more Pirates movie in the works, and he’s committed to several other upcoming films.
